Aadhi Pinisetty is a talented actor hailing from India, known for his work in both Tamil and Telugu cinema. His accolades include a Nandi Award and a SIIMA Award, along with two nominations for the Filmfare Awards South.
He is the son of film director Ravi Raja Pinisetty and made his acting debut in 2006 with the Telugu movie Oka V Chitram. His breakthrough came with the Tamil film Eeram in 2009, which was produced by the renowned director S. Shankar.
Raised in a Telugu-speaking household, Aadhi comes from a family deeply rooted in the film industry, as his father has directed more than 50 films. He spent his formative years in Chennai, where he attended Don Bosco School.
After his initial appearance in Oka V Chitram, he took on a role in the Tamil film Mirugam in 2007. The year 2009 marked his significant rise with the supernatural thriller Eeram. In 2010, he featured in two films, Ayyanar and Aadu Puli, both of which were commercial ventures that performed moderately well despite receiving mixed reviews, helping him establish his commercial appeal. His filmography continued to grow with titles like Aravaan (2012), Gundello Godari (2013), Vallinam (2014), and Kochadaiyaan (2014) followed by Yagavarayinum Naa Kaakka (2015).
His performance in the successful film Sarrainodu (2016) garnered critical praise, with one critic noting that his presence significantly enhances the movie. The following year, he starred in the thriller Maragadha Naanayam, which unexpectedly became a box office hit. He also appeared in the romantic-drama Ninnu Kori alongside Nani, where his role as Arun received positive reviews. In 2018, Aadhi continued to expand his repertoire with notable appearances in Telugu films such as Agnyaathavaasi, Rangasthalam, Neevevaro, and the bilingual project U Turn.
