On May 19, 2023, 7Cs Entertainment revealed an exciting partnership with director Aarumuga Kumar and actor Vijay Sethupathi. This dynamic duo had previously worked together on the film Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren back in 2017. The project, currently known as Vijay Sethupathi 51, marks Rukmini Vasanth’s debut in Tamil cinema, as she takes on the leading female role.

Yogi Babu has also been cast in a significant part. Filming commenced within the same month and concluded by November 30, primarily taking place in Malaysia. The film’s official title, Ace, was disclosed on May 17, 2024. The technical team includes composer Justin Prabhakaran, cinematographer Karan B. Rawat, editor R.
