Arulnithi Tamilarasu is an Indian actor primarily active in the Tamil film industry. He hails from a prominent political family, being the grandson of the late Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi. His acting career took off with the 2010 movie Vamsam, and he has gained recognition for his performances in crime and suspense thrillers.
Arulnithi’s lineage includes M. Karunanidhi, a former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, and his father, M. K. Tamilarasu, who is the brother of M. K. Stalin, the current Chief Minister. His family ties extend to notable producers such as Udhayanidhi Stalin and Dhayanidhi Alagiri.
He completed his schooling at St. Michael’s Academy in Chennai and later earned a degree from Loyola College before advancing his studies at Pondicherry University. In a personal milestone, Arulnithi wed Keerthana on June 7, 2015. The couple welcomed their first child, a son, in 2017, followed by a daughter born in November 2021.
