Singham Again is an anticipated Indian Hindi-language action film that has been both written and directed by Rohit Shetty, who also serves as a co-producer through Rohit Shetty Picturez, in collaboration with Reliance Entertainment, Jio Studios, and Devgn Films. The film features Ajay Devgn in the lead role, supported by a cast that includes Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, and Jackie Shroff. This project marks Shetty’s inaugural venture as a writer and represents the fifth entry in his Cop Universe, serving as a direct sequel to Singham Returns (2014).
The film was initially announced in September 2017 under the working title Singham 3, with the official title revealed in December 2022. Principal photography commenced in September 2023 and concluded in September 2024. Filming locations included Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kashmir, and Sri Lanka. The release is slated for 1 November 2024, aligning with the Diwali festival.
