Vetri is a prominent Indian actor known for his work in Tamil cinema. He has garnered attention for starring in films produced by his own family, notably in titles like 8 Thottakkal (2017) and Jiivi (2019).
He made his acting debut in the 2017 film 8 Thottakkal, where he portrayed a sub-inspector. This project came from his family-run production house, Vetrivel Saravana Cinemas. He continued his journey with the thriller Jiivi in 2019, which was well-received by critics. A reviewer from the Times of India remarked that it became “one of the memorable thrillers of the year.”
In 2021, Vetri took on a role in C/O Kaadhal, which is a remake of a Telugu film. He also released another film, Vanam, within the same year.
